This last year has been incredibly challenging for all people, in every country. Last week brought new conflict for citizens living in the United States. The heart-ache of violence never skips over children. In an attempt to confront this conflict and violence, I'll be having a conversation with my 9 year old son about the events that took place on January 6th at the U.S. Capitol Building, and asking myself, and him, "How can we begin to heal our hearts and the hearts of others?"
